Each month you collect guest revenue, deduct your fees, and disperse the balance back to owners — usually as dozens of separate checks or manual bank transfers.
With Ramp, you can pay owners and vendors by ACH directly from VRTrust. Your Ramp checking and card activity also comes into VRTrust for reconciliation, and Ramp spend gets coded to your VRTrust chart of accounts and listings.
Ramp is a finance operations platform that provides corporate cards, bill pay, and business banking in one place.
Note: To connect, you'll need a Ramp business account that's open and funded. ACH payments come out of a funded Ramp account, which you can fund from the bank account you already use. Until you’re ready, you can keep paying owners by check or manual bank transfer.
What the integration does
ACH payments. Pay vendor expenses and owner statement payouts from VRTrust. VRTrust creates the bill in Ramp when you pay, Ramp sends the ACH, and payment status comes back to VRTrust.
Bank feeds. VRTrust creates a bank account for your Ramp checking account and a credit card account for your Ramp cards, then brings their transactions in for reconciliation.
Card spend as expenses. Cleared and approved Ramp card transactions come into VRTrust as expenses, with the coding they have in Ramp.
Bills both ways. Bills entered in Ramp come into VRTrust as expenses, and their paid status stays in sync.
Shared coding. VRTrust sends your chart of accounts, vendors and owners, and listings to Ramp, so spend is coded in Ramp the same way it is in VRTrust.
What you need
A Ramp business account. You can apply from VRTrust or at ramp.com/partners/vrplatform.
A VRTrust team admin to connect Ramp.
VRPlatform set as the accounting connection in Ramp. If Ramp is connected to QuickBooks or Xero instead, Ramp won't accept the VRTrust chart of accounts, listings or Bill to Owner field, and Ramp spend won't come into VRTrust.
How it fits together
Data | Direction | When |
Chart of accounts | VRTrust → Ramp | On connect, then when accounts change |
Vendors and owners | VRTrust → Ramp | On connect, then when contacts change |
Listings | VRTrust → Ramp | On connect, then when listings change |
Ramp checking transactions | Ramp → VRTrust | Each sync |
Ramp card transactions | Ramp → VRTrust | Each sync |
Bills and ACH payments | Both ways | Bills entered in Ramp come into VRTrust as expenses on each sync. Paying from VRTrust creates the Ramp bill, and Ramp sends payment status back. |

Why Connect Ramp?
Ramp replaces manual checks and bank transfers with ACH payments you send from VRTrust. Ramp holds the funds and sends the payment, and VRTrust never holds or moves your money. Payment status syncs back to VRTrust automatically, so both systems stay reconciled.
