1. Accessing Reservation Settings 0:03
Navigate to the Settings at the bottom of the menu.
Select Reservations to manage reservation line mappings.
2. Understanding Reservation Lines 0:14
Reservation lines originate from the PMS and represent revenue categories.
These categories must be mapped to general ledger accounts from your accounts list.
3. Reviewing PMS Line and Account Fields 0:24
The PMS line column displays the reservation line name and its source PMS.
The account fields show the corresponding account from your chart of accounts.
4. Mapping Revenue Accounts 0:35
Choose the appropriate account in the account fields to determine where reservation line revenue will be recorded.
5. Excluding Reservation Lines 0:53
To exclude a reservation line from the general ledger, select Excluded from the account drop-down list.
This is applicable for line types not typically used on customer invoices.
6. Setting Revenue Recognition Method 1:06
The Revenue Recognition field shows the selected method for the reservation line.
This can be set to recognize revenue on check-in, check-out, booked date, or pro-rata.
7. Default Revenue Recognition Settings 1:22
By default, revenue from cancelled reservations is recognized on the cancellation date.
Note that these settings cannot be changed after publishing the first owner statements.
8. Ensuring All PMS Lines Are Assigned 1:36
Confirm that all PMS lines are assigned to an account to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

Periodically revisit reservation line mappings as new lines populate your reservation invoices.
