The Hostex integration allows VRTrust to automatically sync reservation and financial data from your Hostex account into VRTrust, helping reduce manual data entry and streamline your accounting workflows.
Once connected, VRTrust can begin importing reservation activity, guest charges, payouts, and other operational data needed for reconciliation and reporting workflows.
Before You Start
Before connecting Hostex to VRTrust, make sure:
You have administrator access to your Hostex account
Your listings are active in Hostex
Your reservation and payout workflows are configured correctly inside Hostex
We also recommend reviewing your:
Listing names
Ownership structure
Taxes and fees configuration
Reservation settings
This helps ensure a smoother setup process once data begins syncing into VRTrust.
Connecting Hostex to VRTrust
Step 1: Open Connections
In VRTrust:
Navigate to Connections from the left hand navigation
Click the blue + Add Connection button in the upper right corner
Search or select Hostex from the PMS tab, and click + Connect
Step 2: Enter Your Hostex Credentials
You will be prompted to enter your Hostex Access token to authorize the connection through Hostex.
Enter the access token and click submit.
Once authorized, VRTrust will begin establishing the connection.
Initial Data Sync
After connecting the integration, VRTrust will begin importing available reservation and financial data from Hostex. Initial sync times may vary depending on:
Number of listings
Reservation history
Volume of transactions
Reviewing Imported Data
You can review imported reservation data by navigating to Reservations, then from the Connection filter at the top of the table, select Hostex. Click any reservation to open the reservation drawer, where you can review synced details.

Does VRTrust continuously sync data from Hostex?
Yes. Once connected, VRTrust will continue syncing supported reservation and financial activity from Hostex automatically.
Can I manually refresh reservation data?
