How to use the VRP browser extension to connect Airbnb and Booking.com (VRTrust)
You will need to have the VRPlatform browser extension installed before proceeding. If you have not already done so, please see instructions to do so here.
If you utilize a Property Management System, please ensure to connect that prior to connecting Airbnb or Booking.com.
As of Dec 2022, this extension is only able to create connections for Airbnb and Booking.com. All other connections should be done by following the process within VRPlatform. These instructions can be found here.
How to Connect Your Airbnb Account
Step 1: Download the Browser Extension 0:00
Ensure you have downloaded the browser extension.
This extension is necessary to connect and log into your Airbnb account.
It allows you to pull payouts for bank reconciliations.
Step 2: Check for the Latest Version 0:14
Make sure you have version 1.24.7 as of July 23, 2026.
Always check for updates to ensure you are using the latest version.
Step 3: Initiate Connection to Airbnb 0:32
Click on the connection option in the browser extension.
If no connections exist, select 'Complete connection to Airbnb'.
Step 4: Log in with Email 1:01
Open Airbnb and log in using your email address.
Avoid using social media accounts (Google/Apple) or phone logins, as they will not allow proper connection.
Make sure you are logged out of all Airbnb accounts in all browser tabs before initiating the connection.
Step 5: Confirm Connection 1:35
After logging in, return to the browser extension and click to connect again.
Look for a green check mark to confirm successful connection.
Step 6: Add Additional Connections (if needed) 1:51
If you already have a connection, you can add more than one.
Note: The Booking.com connection will be discontinued soon, so ignore it for now.
