Filter Bank Feed and Transaction Tabs by Source (VRTrust)

Easily filter items on the bank feed and transaction tabs under Bank Reconciliation by source

VRTrust now includes Source filters on both the Bank Feed and Transactions tabs to provide additional visibility into how records were created, matched, or imported.

Who This Applies To: This article is intended for VRTrust users reviewing bank feeds and ledger transactions during reconciliation workflows.

Filter Records on the Bank Feed Tab

To review Bank Feed source filters:

  1. Navigate to Bank Reconciliation

  2. Open the Bank Feed tab

The Bank Feed tab displays bank records imported through:

  • Connected bank feeds using Plaid

  • Manual CSV uploads

Use the Source Filter

Within the Bank Feed tab:

  1. Open the Source filter

You can now filter records based on how they were created or matched.

For example:

  • Filter records matched through a Bank Rule

The list will update to display only records processed automatically through existing bank rules.

Filter Transactions by Source

Next:

  1. Open the Transactions tab for the same bank account

  2. Open the Source filter

The Transactions tab displays ledger-side transactions created within VRTrust.

Available source filters include:

  • Bank Rules

  • Manual UI entries

  • Integration-created transactions

For example, you can filter transactions created through Lynnbrook to isolate imported deposit activity.

Why Source Filters Matter

These filters help provide visibility into:

  • Where transactions originated

  • How records entered the system

  • Which transactions were automated versus manually created
