Instead of creating a separate fee for each booking channel, VRTrust allows you to create a single fee and assign it to multiple channels at once. This simplifies fee management and ensures the correct fee is applied automatically based on the reservation source.
Step 1: Navigate to Fees & Commissions
From the main navigation, go to the Fees & Commissions page. Here you can view all existing fees currently configured in your account.
Step 2: Add a New Fee
Click Add Fee in the upper-right corner of the page.
Complete the fee name, fee type, charge basis, and amount fields as needed.
Step 3: Select Multiple Channels
Locate the Channel dropdown in the fee setup form.
Click the dropdown to view available channel options.
Select all of the channels where this fee should apply (for example, Direct and VRBO).
Step 4: Save the Fee
Once all fee details and channel selections are complete, click Save to create the fee.
Step 5: Assign the Fee to Listings
Navigate to the Listings tab.
Select the listings where this fee should apply.
Assign the newly created fee to those listings.
How It Works
Once assigned, the fee will automatically apply to any reservation that matches one of the selected channels. This means you no longer need to maintain separate fees for each channel — one fee covers all the sources you select.
