Control Decimal Places on Owner Statement Formulas in VRTrust

VRTrust Owner statement layouts now support configurable decimal precision for percentage-based formula columns, giving you greater control over how figures are displayed on owner statements.

When building or editing an owner statement layout, columns of type Formula that output a percentage value can be formatted with a specific number of decimal places. Inline formatting controls have been updated to make this adjustment quick and straightforward directly within the layout editor.

How to use it

  1. Open an Owner Statement Template

    To update decimal precision settings:

    1. Navigate to Statements

    2. Select Edit Template to open the Owner Statement template settings

  2. Locate Formula Percentage Columns

    Within the template:

    1. Locate a column using the Formula Percentage column type

    2. Open the column settings

    These columns now include a setting to control the number of decimal places displayed within the statement.

  3. Update Decimal Precision

    To change how percentages display:

    1. Adjust the decimal precision value

    2. Save the template

    For example:

    • Setting the precision to 0 will display percentages as rounded whole numbers

    • Higher precision settings will display additional decimal places

  4. Review the Updated Statement

    After saving the template:

    1. Open a statement preview or generated statement

    2. Review the updated percentage formatting

VRTrust will automatically round percentage values based on the selected precision setting.
