By default, VRTrust only displays published statement data in statement summary reports. This means owners will only see finalized financials for a given period, even if additional statements exist in draft.
Example
If:
January 2026 is published, and
February–December 2026 are still in draft
Then:
The owner statement summary report for 2026 will only reflect January data
Draft statement data will not be included
Enable Draft Data in Summary View
If you want owners to see a more complete, real-time picture that includes data from statements in draft, you can enable this setting.
Steps:
Go to Settings
Select Owner Portal
Toggle on Show Draft Summary Statement Data
What Changes
Once enabled:
The statement summary visible to owners will include data from both published and draft statements
Summary totals will update to reflect the full dataset for the selected period
Owners gain earlier visibility into their performance for the period
When to Use This
Enabling draft data can be helpful when you want to:
Provide ongoing visibility before statements are finalized
Reduce questions from owners during the month
Share a more real-time financial picture
Important Notes
This setting only affects the summary view in the Owner Portal
Statements must still be published to be visible in the owner portal
You retain full control over when statements are shared with owners
Summary
The Show Draft Summary Statement Data setting allows you to balance transparency and control, giving owners earlier insight while maintaining your standard publishing workflow in VRTrust.
