Managing owner statement templates

1. Navigate to Statements Page 0:03

  • Go to the statements page.

  • Select 'Edit Template' to access the template management options.

2. Edit an Existing Template 0:17

  • Click on the template name you wish to edit.

  • Make necessary changes using guidance from provided videos.

  • Save your changes.

3. Note on Editing Published Templates 0:25

  • Once a template is used in a published statement, it cannot be edited.

  • Create a new template for any listings that require changes.

4. Clone a Template 0:31

  • Select the ellipsis next to the template you want to clone.

  • Choose 'Clone' to duplicate the template's existing settings.

5. Add a New Template 0:50

  • Click the add icon to create a new template from scratch.

  • Enter a title for the new template.

  • Select 'Submit' to save.

6. Rename a Template 1:00

  • Select the ellipsis on the template you want to rename.

  • Choose 'Rename' and type the new template name.

  • Select 'Submit' to save the new name.

7. Remove a Template 1:09

  • Select the ellipsis next to the template you wish to remove.

  • Choose 'Remove' to delete the template.

8. Assign a Template to a Listing 1:09

  • Go to the Statements page and open 'Edit Template'.

  • Select 'Template Mappings'.

  • Choose the template title you want to assign to the listing in the template column.

9. Change Default Template for Listings 1:29

  • Currently, the default statement is applied to all listings.

  • To use a different template, select the alternate statement template.

Cautionary Notes

  • Editing Restrictions: Remember that once a template is published, it cannot be edited. Always create a new template for changes needed on published listings.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use Cloning: When creating variations of templates, use the cloning feature to save time.

  • Consistent Naming: Maintain a consistent naming convention for templates to easily identify their purpose.
