Features of the Profit & Loss Report

Profit & Loss Report offers 5 different configurations, changing how the data is presented across columns. These variations include:

  • By Party (which breaks out data by property manager vs. owners)

  • By Listing

  • By Month

  • By Quarter

  • By Year

Users can filter down any of these reports by a specific time period, by party, or by listing, with the ability to select multiple listings at once.

To drilldown into any account balance or category balance, click the amount and a general ledger detail window will open, pre-filtered based on filters selected in the report.

This allows users to see detailed journal entry activity that makes up the selected balance and see the specific reservation details associated with those transactions without leaving the main Profit & Loss report screen.

Additional features:

  • Option to show only non-zero columns and rows

  • "Collapse all" button allows easy navigation and drilldown into the categories of the profit & loss statement.

  • Export to PDF

  • The percentages that appear next to bold values represent that amount divided by the Revenue amount.

Open the Profit & Loss Report

  1. Click Reports in the left-hand menu

  2. Select the profit and Loss Report

  3. Select your desired view using the buttons at the upper right of the table

  4. Use the filters in the upper left to narrow down the results

  5. Click the Collapse all button in the upper right corner, or use the arrows on the left to collapse/expand specific groupings

  6. Click the Export button in the upper right corner to export a .csv copy of the table contents using the applied filters
