πŸ’΅ Profit & Loss Report

This month, we launched a new Profit & Loss Report, providing VRTrust users with a comprehensive overview of income and expenses across the business for a specified time period.

The new report offers 5 different configurations, changing how the data is presented across columns. These variations include: By Party (which breaks out data by property manager vs. owners) By Listing, By Month, By Quarter, or By Year.

Users can filter down any of these reports by a specific time period, by party, or by listing, with the ability to select multiple listings at once.

To drilldown into any account balance or category balance, click the amount and a general ledger detail window will open, pre-filtered based on filters selected in the report.

This allows users to see detailed journal entry activity that makes up the selected balance and see the specific reservation details associated with those transactions without leaving the main Profit & Loss report screen.

Additional features of the Profit & Loss report:

  • Option to show only non-zero columns and rows

  • "Collapse all" button allows easy navigation and drilldown into the categories of the profit & loss statement.

  • Export to PDF

  • Calculated percentages that appear next to bold values represent that amount divided by the Revenue amount.

πŸ›οΈ Per-Night Flat Fees

Now, in addition to having the ability to post a flat fee for a single reservation, users can set flat fees on a per-night basis. For example, setting a $25 flat fee per night on a 7-night stay would result in a fee posting for $175, reducing the need for manual calculations in these instances.

πŸ“… Calendar Blocking

This feature allows owners to add and remove calendar blocks directly from their owner portal in VRPlatform, simplifying the process for owners and reducing the need to log in to multiple systems. Manual calendar blocks and owner stays will automatically sync to the property management system, ensuring that no guest stays are booked during this timeframe.

Please note: This feature is only available for Guesty users currently, more property management systems are in development.
