Step 1: Navigate to the Connections page in VRPlatform. Ensure that you have the VRPlatform Connect Browser Extension installed and pinned to your toolbar.
Step 2: An error message or red "X" in the status column next to your Airbnb connection will indicate the need to reconnect Airbnb to VRPlatform.
Step 4: Initiate the reconnection process from the VRPlatform Connect browser extension in your toolbar. Ensure you're logged out of Airbnb in other windows before beginning the reconnection process in VRPlatform.
Step 5: Select the connection that needs reconnection. If you do not see the connections as listed below, select the back button in the top left hand corner of the extension pop up, and then select the Airbnb connection that needs to be reconnected.
Step 6: Open Airbnb and use the email and password option to reconnect.
Step 7: Continue with the email and password option to login. Remember, you must use the same email and password used to establish the connection initially. Do not use your phone number, social logins, Google or Apple to log in.
Step 8: Input your email and password.
Step 9: Once logged in, look for a green check mark on the browser extension. Click on this green check mark and select "Reconnect Account. This should reestablish the connection.
Troubleshooting
Common issues during this reconnection process include:
Being logged into Airbnb in another window before attempting reconnection from the browser extension in VRPlatform
Trying to log in using a different login option other than email and password (Google, Apple, or Social are not allowed)
Forgetting to select the green check mark after logging in to finish establishing the connection.
