Solved: Can't access the owner portal

Updated yesterday

If you've received an invitation from your property manager to access the owner portal, you've created an account, but you aren't seeing the owner portal, here's how to fix it.

This typically happens when the email address used during signup doesn’t match the email your property manager used to create your owner profile.

Why This Happens

Your property manager creates your owner profile in VRTrust and sends you an owner portal invitation tied to a specific email address.

If you:

  • Use a different email address to sign up

  • Click “Sign up” directly from vrplatform.app instead of using the invite link

  • Try to create an account manually

VRTrust may assume you’re a property manager and create the wrong account type.

What You Should See:

How to Fix It

Step 1: Find Your Owner Portal Invitation

Check the email inbox where your property manager originally sent your owner portal invite.
👉 This email address is important — it must match exactly.

Step 2: Use the Same Email Address

Accept the invite and create an account using that same email address.
This will correctly link you to your owner portal.

Step 3: Need the Invite Resent?

If you can’t find the invite:

  • Contact your property manager

  • Ask them to resend your owner portal invitation

  • They can also share the invite link with you directly

Once resent, use the link in that email to join.

What If I Already Created the Wrong Account?

No problem. Simply:

  • Stop using the account you created manually

  • Accept the owner portal invitation using the correct email address

If you’re stuck or unsure which email to use, our support team can help clean things up.

Still Have Questions?

  • You’re logging in with the correct email

  • You were meant to be an owner or a property manager
